The purpose behind this
The goal was to make telling the time effortless for people who cannot rely on a visual display giving blind and low-vision users a dependable, spoken sense of time throughout their day.
It needed to combine accurate voice announcements with flexible alarms, timers and reminders, work for everyday routines like cooking, medication and study, and stay simple enough for anyone to use without help.

The process included integrating natural text-to-speech voice synthesis, designing a high-contrast and screen-reader friendly interface, building a robust alarm, timer and interval-reminder engine, and tuning multi-language voice output so every announcement sounds clear and natural across 11 languages.
